From the Wizard’s Desk:
Now here is true terror, the kind that doesn’t roar, doesn’t run… only stands, watching. Waiting.
NECA’s Ultimate Count Orlok is a masterpiece of restraint, silent, stark, and steeped in the dread of early cinema. Cast entirely in black and white, this figure pays exquisite homage to Nosferatu (1922), the grandfather of screen horror and the reason we no longer trust open windows at night.
He stands 7 inches tall, but his presence stretches far further. With his hunched back, elongated fingers, and that expression of undead apathy, Orlok is both tragic and terrifying. The sculpt captures the unsettling stillness of actor Max Schreck’s original performance, an inhuman thing trying (and failing) to wear a man’s skin.
He comes with three heads to match his moods: grim, grimacing, and "you left the crypt door open again." His hands are swappable, from reaching to clawing to gently sinister. A lantern and ring of keys complete his inventory, along with a rat, not a horde, not a swarm… just one. Somehow that’s worse.
Whether displayed under moonlight, in a glass case, or next to the frightened figurines of lesser monsters, Orlok brings a quiet, creeping dread no coloured figure can match.
By shadow, silence, and the flicker of old film, he walks among us still
